It was a cloudy and rainy day when the Mazda 6 was detailed, so cannot really get good shots of the defects on the car. There were scratch and swirl marks on the car and also some sanding marks on the front passenger door panel (a ‘gift’ from a painter shop). The car was wash down with Optimum Car Shampoo and most of the defects are removed with Optimum Compound + Cutting pad + DA @ speed 5 and for the tougher spot (eg, sanding marks) OC + Cutting pad + rotary @ 1500 rpm. After that followed by Optimum Polish + polishing pad + DA @ speed 5 to finish up the whole car. The whole car than is coated with 1 application of Optimum Car Wax by hand.

Two days later the owner turned up again for a photo shots session on a bright and sunny day,

The red Mazda 3 had the first defects removal detailing done 2 months ago and a follow-up polishing session with OP + OCW done last week. So happen the day after I have finished detailing the gray Mazda 3, the red M3 owner dropped by, had a wash down with Optimum car shampoo and followed by an application of Pinnacle Souveran (PS) paste wax. I must say PS is one of the wettest wax I have used so far with great shine and depth too.

The gray M3 had swirls and scratches and it was almost impossible to capture the defects with the camera due to the colour and the metallic flake. Most of the defects were removed using,

OC + cutting pad + rotary @ 1500rpm, follow by

OP + polishing pad + DA @ speed 5, than finished up with

OCW with hand, an additional coat of Collinite Fleetwax was applied to the bonnet.

The rain decided to stop 30 mins after both cars were done and finally had a chance to go take some photo shots.
