Ok guys, here are some highlights of my last detailing week.

First up is a 2006 Kenworth Day-Cab for a local farmer that hauls chickens. He wants it cleaned every other week, pretty good for a trucker.

Process was

Wash with Duragloss CWC

Degrease with MS Purple Power 5:1 on frame/wheels/tires

Dry with Guzzler

Interior with MQID and IG

Tires/wells/frame with MS Poly Dressing

Paint with VM and OCW

Interior soaked with Purple Power at 5:1 on everything.

Dressed on interior with MS Poly Dressing

Glass with IG

Paint with Color-X via rotary

Wheels with Zepher metal polish

Wow, the Ford was terrible. Looks like dirt is almost permanently ingrained into the seats.

Both look nice.:goodjob

Ya missed a bug on the KW grille! :nana:

Heck of a job on the Ford pickup truck. Of course the big truck looks beautiful too, but not nearly as impressive as the change in the Ford. You've got the skillz. :up

Thanks guys, I hit that bug again after I saw that pic. I always bring my laptop with me and download pics on the spot to make sure I did not miss anything. Flash shows everything.

Sludge-you comin to the detail meet Saturday? Greenville is only about an hour and 10min away from me.

how long did the big rig take? washing that thing just seems kinda cool, hehe.

nice turnaround on that ford interior, that was disgusting :scared:

You have more patience than I. Sweet work. The paint and metal look awesome on that Semi as well as the Ford.

Good job buddy!! There is a row of 5 conventionals across the street from where I work during the day that are swirled beyond belief! Always makes me want to go over and quote them on detailing them out! Anything different about doing the paint on a big rig like that?

Again.......the trucks look great!!

Huge improvement on the Ford! The interior isn't perfect but given the starting point, I think that is about as good as it will ever get! I've done a few like that and it is frustrating not being able to get it perfect but with that level of dirt and neglect, you can only do so much.

Outstanding job on the Kenworth too. :up

You earned your money on that one !!! I also do some work for a local construction company also, and I know those Kenworth Tractors are a lot of work.

My hats off to you !!!
