Back home in PA now,,,, this usually means a little jaunt into Lancaster County with my family to the Mennonite-owned stores, cool harware places, pretzel company outlets, etc.

Saw a nice display of the full line (I mean clay, all chemicals, etc. realy cool display) of Smartwax OTC at:

Nice hardware store that has everything at good prices. Just a heads up.

Not sure if Smartwax garners the attention as a viable care-car chemical company that Meguiar's, HD, Optimum Polymer Technologies, Mothers, Chemical Guys, Poor Boys, Autoglym, etc. seem to get within this forum. If you, or any Autopian, can post some product reviews/opinions on their products that you use, it would be greatly appreciated.

We OCD (Obsessive-compulsive detailing) Autopians  are always open to new products that work. But let's face it; we probably ALL have way more car-care chemicals than we know what to do with and have allocated  an insane amount of monetary resources on products that we try/experiment with, only to have them end up on the garage/basement/workshop shelf collecting dust and space. But they do add some viability to our passion/hobby/pastime of detailing, at least in our own minds. You don't know about something until you try it yourself (but most "non-understanding" people think detailing to the degree that I do is insane!)

Good to know, I don't think it's too far from me. I have never used Smartwax product. Like others have stated I have too much stuff at the moment.

Concours- What other lines do they carry? I am all for getting local if I can !

mmcclusk2 - yup, I used to work near Atglen, so I know where Cochranville is.

Lonnie - right- I absolutely have a group of products collectiong some dust... this past year, I've learned that there are certain things I turn to with every wash, wheras other items just sit there.

Trying to limit new purchases to what I "need" these days. I thought I read that Smartwax is connected with Chem Guys... not sure.

Only picked up Smartwax (Concours line) Microfiber cleaner, which I did in fact need. Work as well as, if not better than DP MF wash. Towels were clean/"grabby" as they should be after using the wash.

pgp - Let's see, they also have the full compliment of Stoner's (all the cans you don't really see at the big box store anymore) so I picked up Tarminator, and actually, in a different section (household cleaners) they have Flitz, and, I believe, an obscure Flitz car wax at $25.00 a bottle. Woner how many they sell...
