Well i ordred some lake country pads for my pc, but they seem huge for the backing plate that i have. If i get the 6" backing plate will they work better, i believe they said they were like 7" pads, but i told them i wanted them for the pc and they said they sent me the right ones.

I ordered some from 2 different companies for the pc and they both sent me the same size, but they seem to work on the rotary backing plate as well. I think im running the 5" backing plate on my pc but hmm there seems to be to much space behind there??

well i just looked and i measured the inside and it was 6" so i need the 6" pc plate, duh to myself lol. yeah i have the 7.5. thanks for the replies

you do want to get the larger 6' backing plate. Those 7.5' pads are the best pads for the PC if you use speed 6.

Especially with the 6" packing plate because it applies more even pressure across the face of the pad.

Before I got in to the dual mode machines we used the 7.5" LC VC pads on the larger 6" BP. That works out well because we also use those same pads on the rotary. We still use the same pads on the dual mode machines as well, they come with a 6" BP that fits those pads nicely.
