Everyone including myself is anxiously waiting for these pads. I've gotten a lot of phone calls and emails asking the same question recently. Luckily we're first in line to receive them from Lake Country, so as soon as they get here you'll be able to buy them and receive Autopia Points. I'm being told 1-2 weeks.

Thanks! I noted that they are featured on the Lake Country web site and thought maybe I was missing something!
 
Are these pads specifically for rupes polishers or would you still benefit from them using a pc?
 
Are they going to have these for the smaller machines? It looks like they have sized these for the 15 and 21, although the 15 pad may fit on the Duetto...what about for the Mini?

The hydo pads are closed cell foam. The HD Orbital pads are open celled and specifically formulated to stand up to the stress induced by long throw orbital polishers.

No need to be quiet. Your insights are much appreciated here.

Note that I didn't say that they won't shred. I simply pointed out that they have a different construction than those that have a reputation for shredding<g>...
 
I have Bigfeet and I'm looking forward to adding these pads to my arsenal...now the big question...When?

I've used them with a 3401 and a 849x and they're not going to shred. The only issue you may have is the leading edge may if you were to get it up against a sharp edge but that will happen with any pad.
