Lake Country 6.5": OEM vs. cured Hi-Gloss

I am soon to place an order from CMA for the green German pads and possibly some other LC 6.5" pads. Are the "Hi-Gloss" pads with curved edges and "Constant Pressure" foam backing worth the extra dough? Are they much easier to use?

The Hi Gloss pads are great for rotary work. For PC usage I prefer the OEM 7/8" pads.

These...7.5 inch, CCS Technology,
Hi-gloss pads for D-A and circular polishers are very nice pads. They're 7.5", but the mushroom shape of them allows you to get to places you would normally only be able to get to with much smaller pads. They also hold up very well.

Just noticed that they aren't showing the orange pad on that page anymore.... wonder if they stopped making it, or if they're out of stock.
