I took a survey last night at my detailing clinic, I had 40 or so people attend. No professinals, one show car owner, mostly just regular people looking for car care tips. Here is what I found.
50% of the people were using dish soap to wash their car on a regular basis.
a handfull of people paid car dealers between $400-800 to paint seal.
Most people thought waxing once a year was plently
4 used compounds by hand in an attempt to remove scracthes
some were using steel wool to remove bugs on glass and finish
No one knew what clay bar was
only 5 or so knew what Micro Fiber towels were.
Does anyone see a need or opportunity here?
I sold 75 MF towels, some of Dwayne's products, plus supplied lots of solid info. >The check for $200 was a nice perk as well.
