Kobalt 40v leaf blower

If it’s powerful enough, I assume MPH wise, then yeah, it’s probably a winner. Pair that with a PFM towel and you should be set.

That might be my next blower, not necessarily for the car, but for around the house. I wonder if my Air Wand would be compatible with any of these cordless blowers, then I might start using it again.

I have the 80 volt Kobalt and it`s a winner. Three speeds and the highest speed is more than perfect for cars. The lowest speed is good for turning bonfires into blast furnaces. So, if the 40 volt has the same build quality and power as the 80 volt, it`s an excellent value at $99.
Apart from drying the car, you`ll find a million other uses around the house I`m guessing.

+1

I have this model as well and it rocks. I`d spring for the extra power, you won`t be disappointed.

I’ve seen a lot of these Kobalt blowers for sale as refurbished and that sets off some caution lights. I’m not sure what can go wrong with a battery operated blower besides the battery not holding up. Worx blowers/batteries are the worst and customer service is non existent. If you do buy one save the box in case you have to send it back. The cost to send these things back isn’t cheap and most people usually throw them away instead of sending them back.

I would suggest something like a Ryobi where the battery can be used for more than one purpose. I’ve got batteries plugged in everywhere for different tools and it makes no sense. The battery is normally the most expensive part of these type tools. The Ryobi One system has an amazing amount of tools and one battery fits them all.

I have the Greenworks 80 volt snowthrower and the leaf blower uses the same battery.

Both are great and plenty powerful. The leaf blower is a bit ungainly to hold over your head to dry the car roof, otherwise just fine. It would be better if the trigger would lock on.

The snowthrower has a good 45 minute run time with 4-6 inches medium weight snow. Same run time with the leaf blower on high.
