Klause or Zaino system?

There is lot's of information here and I have been reading for some time. Information overload would be a good way to describe it.



Looking to do up the car and bring it to the next level. Should I use the Klause twins as in the AIO and the SG or use a Zaino kit, maybe the "Zaino Total Protection Show Car Kit". :help:
 
in the past i used zaino but have changed to aio topped with upgp. i like this look and easy of use better than zaino. however there is nothing wrong with zaino, use to use it on my show car for seven years.

I agree, the Werkstat line is easier to work with than Klasse and gives a better look. Outstanding durability too. Zaino lasts as long but I think Werkstat looks better.
 
Ask a question like, 'What is the best wax?" and you will get eleven different answers from ten different detailers. ;)

Zaino has improved the line from long ago and the "plastic look" is long gone. In the begining, it was really used best for indoor car shows. With the high intensity lights like MV or MH lamps, the finish looked very clear with no distortion. However, bring it outside to a full color spectrum, it looked like it was wrapped in plastic. No more now!



What I found on my black finish is that with Zaino, it lasts a very long time and with the added benifit from Z8 just makes ot look that much better. Looks as if it just came out of a spray booth w/o the over oily look some waxes give off.



Zaino is very very clear and does not distort the finish.



Besides, cleaning a car treated with ANY sealant is a whole lot easier than wax. Try removing pollen or dust once the wax has gotten really warm/hot and in some cases "sweat" out a bit. Sealants, just dust off and QD.



The quickest way to a Zaino shine is Z-AIO, Z-CS. I use Z6 between coats (just like the whole Z5/Z2/ZFX system ways), but once I get 24hrs of cure time, I top with Z8 for that added effect.



No matter which you choose, you'll do well with them.



Maybe one day mfg's will offer smaller sample bottles for testing, this way everyone can try each one to see what suites their need or opinion. Until then, you have to purchase regular size bottles.



On another note, some will top a sealant with a wax say for a show, then just wash/strip it off. Some leave it on, it's all a matter of what looks good to you, not what may look good to us and everyone else. It's your car and finish, you choose how you want it to look and if you like it, that's all what matters!!:xyxthumbs

I use Klasse myself. It's pretty simple to follow. Klasse All In One will clean, polish, and protect while Klasse Sealant Glaze will provide higher gloss and far higher protection. It's much easier to understand than Zaino.



What I often do, actually, is use KAIO and follow up with a carnauba wax, usually Swissvax. Here's just a sample of what it looks like:

How about Z-AIO then Z- Clear Seal, wipe on, walk away, no buffing off when using Z-CS.:grinno:



Just maintain using Z6 or Z8.

I know people say that, but it still looks plasticy to me. I've used Zaino Z2/Z5pro and non-pro (older) versions and don't see a huge difference.
 
Just remember, while AIO products serve a purpose, there strong suit is not swirl removal. Something to keep in mind. I started years ago with Klasse AIO but eventually had to add a pure finishing and medium cut polish to get the finish I desired.
 
Yeah, it depends on how hard the paint and how bad the swirls. Prime Strong and Zaino AIO are more abrasive than KAIO and others.
 
Zaino for me. I have the whole JW line. I like JW although easy to work with it leaves a serious plastic/ sterile look. The z2/z5 pro's have a great look to them.

As far as durabilty ,no question Zaino by a mile.
 
Another vote for Zaino. Like Deanski said, it is always being improved and I think it has the market cornered when it comes down to having both looks and durability.

Has more of a wet glass look to me, sort of like the clear coat is thicker. Klasse is a lot worse in that respect though. Regardless, that is just how sealants, not just Zaino or Klasse look.
 
In my opinion, you can't "see" an LSP in photos online. It's something you can only see in person. For an example, here is an '06 VW GTI I polished recently. This is with no LSP whatsoever, just polished and washed to remove oils and residue.
