All last week I tried out the Klasse twins on my mom's 1998 Altima. I thought the twins would be good for her car since it's a metallic greyish-blueish color and the twins give a nice clear look.
Process:
1. Washed with QEW (I love this stuff!). Chenelle covered wash mitt, two buckets, one bucket with 1 oz. of QEW mixed with 1 gallon of water. Wiped dry with two MF towels, one for the initial wipe, one to get the leftovers.
2. I didn't have time to properly polish and remove any swirls or scratches.
Instead, I AIO'd the car with a polishing pad, speed setting of 4, worked one section at a time, going over the section 3 or 4 passes, before wiping with a MF towel.
3. Applied SG with a terry towel covered foam applicator. I tried applying it thinly, going over a section multiple times to ensure I didn't apply it too thickly. At times I was wondering if I was applying anything as I couldn't see anything being applied, but it felt like I was, the pad seemed to slide smoothly. I applied the SG to the whole car before going back to wipe it off. The car felt very nice and slick. The look at this point was nice, the metallics were noticeable.
4. Waited 24 hours, and applied another layer of SG. This time I did the WOWO method: damp applicator, wipe on a section, wipe off with a MF towel. Did this for the whole car. Again, the car felt slick. This time, the metallics looked better, more sparkily.
5. Waited 24 hours before applying another layer of SG. I think this time I went back to the first method of applying it thinly, doing the whole car before going back around to wipe it off with a MF towel. Again, the car felt slick. The metallics also looked better, again more sparkily. Note: This was all done in my garage under these florescent light bulbs.
Finally had a nice sunny day, took the car outside and took some pictures. Unfortunately my light setting was off so they came out with a blue tinge. Anyways, on to the pictures.

I like the look the Klasse Twins give my mom's Altima. It really made the metallic flakes sparkle under the garage lights. AIO is easy to use, although I'm unsure of SG as I am unsure if I am actually getting it onto the paint. I've tried reading up on it, but I still find it difficult to be sure if I applied it or was just rubbing the paint.
Well, I guess I should use the WOWO more often, huh?
Tonight, for kicks, I topped the hood off with Megs #16. I couldn't tell any difference, maybe tomorrow I can see a difference.
