Klasse Twins Newbie Question...

acbent- If you refresh the KSG with another layer (or maybe just some Sonus Acryclic Spritz) at the first sign of that water behavior changing, you can stay ahead of the "gotta redo curve" for a long time.

ThomasC- Good recommendation on the Griot's Car Wash :xyxthumbs Perfectly compatible with KSG IME, even when used in somewhat strong dilutions.

Accumulator, I don't understand why every -pro- in the world isn't using Griot's wash; I realize that by the gallon it is expensive-relatively- but certainly in larger pro quantities the cost would come down significantly.

The problem is that they don't sell it in bulk quantities. I'd buy [whatever quantity!] if I could, I'm already buying it five gallons or so at at time.

Right now I just have Armor-All car wash which seems to be working OK when I do wash the car by hand. I wish I had known about the Sonus Acrylic Spritz when I placed my order. I did get the CG Synthetic Quick Detailer and it says it's polymer resin-based with acrylic in it. I read somewhere that it works fine with the Klasse products. I'm just wondering if I do use it, if it will create problems for subsequent coats of SG - if it would adversely affect the bonding.

Thanks again for the advice gents!

I doubt it'll cause issues. I've used a number of similar products with KSG and never had any problems when I added layers later. IF you're worried, just do a somewhat stronger-than-normal wash, or use some ultra-fine clay, before adding another layer of KSG.

Accumulator, here is a question for you; to my eye not a lot happens after three apps of SG, on any color, whats your experience?

I agree looks-wise. Three, *maybe* four and that's all she wrote. But the durability goes up a lot with those additional applications. And FWIW, I'm not a huge fan of how KSG looks anyhow, though it's OK on Mazda silver (but I hate it on Audi silver).

Thanks accumulator. The SG looks quite nice on my blue/grey paint. I have yet to put my last coat on, but will do so soon. Then I'll use the spritz to keep her shiny until fall at which time I'll do a couple more coats of SG.
