Hello guys new here to the bored. Just got a carbon black M3 and boy I love it but it's a pain in the rear to take care of. I'm really learning everything I can about detailing it to make my life easier and to keep my car in good condition.
Anyway, I'm pretty pissed about the look of my car right now. rained here in AZ earlier in the week and I couldn't wash it for about 3 days. After I washed the car yesterday I saw water marks (or etched not too knowledgeable about water marks. It had the white circle). I thought it wasn't no biggy because I was going to use Klasse AIO and SG. After I put on the AIO the water marks were still there (little better but still noticeable)! You can't see the water marks unless you are very close to the car looking at a certain angle only in the light. I also had a question about the Klasse SG. What is the best method for putting it on? I put it on in the shade and the temp was around 60. How much SG should I put on at a time? I put on only like 4-6 drops for the hood. I used the put on wipe off method. It was just incredible hard to take off and it left streaks. I kept on buffing to get them out but it was still there (got a little better). What should I do now? Just keep on buffing? Also my car isn't smooth at all and I had the car for less than a month (even with the wax and SG). Do you think it's because of the water spots? Also I know the water up here in Prescott, AZ is pretty hard would it be a good investment to purchase a purifier system for the hose (I wash it on campus)? If so, does anyone know a goof purifier to use? Any info and tips would be greatly appreciate, thanks.
Chris
