Klasse SG Removal

Since KSG is recommended to be buffed off after a certain length of time (say, 24 hours), can one WASH the car at the same time?

Here's the reason:

1. AIO x2

2. SG, then WAIT

3. Buff Off/Remove

Between steps 2 and 3, if I were to wait overnight, DUST will gather on the car (no garage). So instead of step 3, I was thinking of hosing the car down (and maybe with some car shampoo) wash the car and rinse it before I start buffing off.

Comments?

You would probably be ok just removing the SG with the 2 MF towel method. One damp and one dry. Just use the damp MF to wipe off the SG and follow immediately with the dry MF.

I wouldn't leave SG on a car outside for 24hrs. If I had a garage to keep it in I might give it a try. It has been my experience that waiting one hour for SG and then removing it is fine.

Some say the longer that you leave it on the easier it is to take off.

I've left my truck outside overnight before with Klasse SG on it and I do not have a garage. I simply quick detailed the truck with Meguiar's #34 before I went around buffing with MF towels.

Light dust that just floated onto the surface is not going to be a big problem to safely remove with a quick detailer.
