Klasse SG over AIO wait time

Yeah, the added hassle of having to go back to square-one *FAR* outweighed any benefit from the topper, but then I take a pretty functional view of this stuff, at least with regard to the vehicle I use Klasse on.

I am going to hi-jack this a little...So no topper accumulator? About 2 years ago i began to research Klasse twins and i have been out of the game for awhile. The recommendation used to be top with P21s... This is where the hijacking comes in...If there were some spots that needed claying lets say, would i have to re-SG that area?

hm.. i've been putting off SG for quite some time. It was actually the first thing I ever bought for MY car, but i've found M21 to be much easier to use so i've been using that. What would be the best way to apply SG? MF applicatior? Terry Applicator? Foam?

Nope no more toppers for me. Certainly not short-lived P21S ;)

I spot-clay with Sonus green at ever wash, no need to reapply the KSG until I've done this a zillion times but I clay very gently.

artikxscout- I apply with a foam applicator and buff off with MF. I don't like terry as it can *sometimes* micromar and that's the last thing I want happening to a SG-ready finish. Others like MF applicators, you won't go wrong with either that or the foam.

I hate toppers for SG. Certainly not S100. Souveran is a different matter on black, red or sapphire blue. But I even have held off the Souveran this past winter. Aquawax has been a good maintenance wax since it's easy, durable, opticallly neutral (so my SG'd car still looks like it has SG).

I prefer hand applied SG using a foam applicator.

Accumulator/Beastie, why to you guys dislike P21S/S100 so much. That has been my favorite (about to go to WS PS&AJ topped with Aquawax). Sure the durability was not there but I loved the look.

Malachi- Heh heh, guess my anti-P21S bias is showing :o I just never really appreciated that wax :nixweiss #16 seems better in *so* many ways while looking similar, Collinite lasts longer if that's what I'm after, and Souveran has the "beauty wax" look I like...Poor old P21s just seems to be left out in the cold. Strictly one of those personal preference things and a lot of it probably stems from having tried the P21s on the Jag- I know how I like it to look and that wasn't it. I can certainly understand somebody else having a very different opinion.

Thanks for bringing up some of the alternatives. I used the S100 and it looked great and so I stopped there. I thought I was getting the "beauty wax"...hmm....
