Wow... such an argument over the application of a product. What have we come to?
I think I have applied more coats of SG on more vehicles than most. I had to in trying to figure out how to create a spray version of the stuff.
In my experience, SG works great in a quick wipe-on/off technique if the product is applied very thin. If you apply the product too heavy, it is necessary to wait until it dries. I have had excellent results applying one whisper-thin coat followed by a rich coat that I allow to dry over night. In the AM, the fully dried SG is a breeze to remove.
I agree that this topic has been discussed a lot, but I have yet to see anyone document the perfect technique... Sorry Bill!
