Klasse SG and rain

I've done a lot of looking and found only minimal reference to getting Klasse sealant glaze wet (rain) within a certain amount of time after applying. I give my Klasse applications a 2-3 hour dwell time and 24 hour cure time, but is there an actual number of hours to wait after that last coat before getting the finish wet?

If there is a post out there that answers this I apologize, just point me too it. If not I hope this post helps, I've included certain words to make the post easy for others to find when searching.

Thanks in advance

You can get the finish wet as soon as its buffed out. 99% of the "curing" is done by the time its ready to be buffed. I would say its "best" to try and keep it dry as long as possible, but expect no adverse affects if it does get wet.

24 hours is what is recommended for best results. If you parked the car in the garage after you put the first coat on and let it sit for even 12 hours it would probably be ok for a second coat. I like to wait as close to the 24 as possible though. I've never heard of the water adversly affecting the curing either. I've done coats with less than 24 hours for curing before and really the only downside I have seen is the difficulty buffing it off. That's about it. If it gets wet I wouldn't worry too much about it. Just make sure its clean and dry for the second coat. :)

Great, thanks guys. I actually have three coats on the truck now and it has been garaged the whole time. I was just concerned about any additional curing before exposure to weather. Its been about 30 hours since that ast coat so I guess I'm okay to pull it out now.

Thanks again
