klasse scratch removal

Would Klasse AIO remove these scratches/swirls? maybe two coats? or would i need to get a clay bar or paint cleaner? Also i now have access to a hose!

I would use a clay bar following the wash and DACP for scratches, Klasse AIO should be your second to last step (before applying SG and then a wax if you wish) In my experience, AIO has removed very light scratches which were probablyjust in the layers of SG I had and not the paint.



You seem to be a fan of the EO line. Just curious, Wipe and Shine is the QD and the Protectant is a rubber/vinyl product like 303 right? How has it worked out for you?
 
Nope, Klasse is a chemical cleaner without abrasives. It will work on the bug guts, but those scratches look pretty bad. If you can feel them with your fingernail, then you are going to have to do some touch up paint, wetsanding. For swirl marks, something like Megs. DACP will do the trick.

no i dont think its that bad someone probably banged me with there door i think its there paint on my car

If you ever come across 303, I highly recommend it :up I believe it is the safest product for rubber/vinyl on the market. It has the good silicone and the highest rated UV protectant :up
 
hrmm whats the best over the counter scratch removal? i can feel it over the paint could i clay it off?
 
let me rephrase that, how do you get someone elses paint off your car? i have some red paint on the other door that someone must have hit with there door.
 
Thanks im going to head out to pep boys see if i can find some dacp, i dont think clay will get it but ive never tried it ;/. Anyone ever use Eagle One WET Polish & Wax, any good?

Probably wont be able to get DACP at Pep Boys, no car store around here has it. Plus, if you dont have a buffer, DACP is VERY difficult to use.



I'd look to get my hands on some Meguiars #9 SMR or some Scratch X to use by hand at Pep Boys. Should work fairly well.
 
Yes, try the Scratch X first. In addition, 3m Fine Cut RC is not a bad thing to have in your arsenal, I know they sell it at Pep Boys along side the 3m Swirl Removers. IMHO the best products are availble mainly online or from Paint and Body Supply stores.

so what does klasse AIO do then? i mean if i have to get a paint cleaner, swirl remover, and a polish why do i even need klasse? i can top all that with wax have it last a couple of months.
 
I use DACP ,a fine polish like Menzerna FP, then AIO, then SG. I use the AIO mainly as a primer for the SG. Certainly feel free to top your Klasse SG or even just AIO by itself with your wax but you may even want to do this a day after applying the Klasse just to make totally sure it fully cured. By all means, do as many steps /use as many products as you see fit for what you are looking for.
 
i use AIO as a base for my SG pretty much to make sure any residue from my polishing is gone, its good stuff
 
hahah that gs27 worked! you have to dab it on the scratch then let it sit for 15secs, and rub up and down. took all that off from the first picture.
