I am about to make a klasse purchase and i have some questions

1. Is AIO clear coat Safe i have heard that it is abrasive and can remove clear coat.

2.If i Apply AIO and a few coats of SG how do i remove that if i wish to .Just like any other wax with dawn .Or anythign special that i must do because it is acrylic.

3. What can i use for QD is anything alright or does it have to be Sonus High Gloss Acrylic Spritz.

4. Is the 10 oz of AIO enough or do i get the 16 oz

and lastly

what is the cheapest place to buy klasse.

thank alot

any responses are welcomed

triumph87 - Welcome to Autopia! I can answer a few of your Q's.

1) AIO won't hurt anything. It's fine for clearcoats. Anyone who says different truly doesn't know what they're talking about (that's a warning ;) ).

2) *IF* you want to remove it (big "IF") you can use AIO, or any polish/paint cleaner, or rubbing alcohol. Dawn won't remove it, but it's not that hard to get off if you really want to.

3) Many QDs besides Sonus work fine with Klasse- Quik Shine, and BF come to mind. Some people like Me'gs FI (#34).

4) Get the bigger bottle, you'll use it eventually. AIO is one of the most versatile products out there.

Where's cheapest? Dunno, I just get it where I'm ordering other stuff. I don't think the prices vary much. There's a 15% discount at the Autopia store (today, 3/1/04 is the *last* day, discount code= SAVEBIG), hint hint.

1. Yes

2. Remove it with another polish.

3. Sonus or Quickshine. I even use FD with no problems.

4. 10 oz is plenty. You do not use very much to begin with. Just follow directions on bottle.

5. www.klassedirect.com

Hope this helps.

1. it's non abrasive, and will not harm your clearcoat.

2. AIO will remove SG. I cant think of anything that won't work on top of AIO, so I don't see a need to strip it past that. But any abrasive polish will remove the little protection AIO puts on.

3. It can be anything without carnauba and silicones. A lot of people seem to like Eagle One Wet Wipe and Shine, and although it's supposed to contain silicones, it doesnt appear to cause problems.

4. 10oz is fine for one or two cars of your own, since it's not something that you need to use on your paint often. A lot of people like to use it on their wheels. Some people like it on their plastic parts and trim. But usually the 16oz size is only about 3 dollars more in most places, so you might as well supersize.

The current cheapest place to get klasse until march tomorrow is the autopia store, when you use the 15% off discount that is currently in effect (code: savebig).

yes but make sure the s100 is gone or the SG may not bond.
