Klasse in sunlight?

What's the big downside to using AIO and SG in the sun? I don't have any shade today but really need to wax the car. Please help quick if you can. Thanks

SG will be VERY difficult to use (remove). Not recommended. AIO will be okay if you apply to a small area at a time and remove quickly. Make sure the surface is not too hot.

The sunlight ended up being a non issue since I found some shade. AIO big thumbs up. Great Stuff!! SG, Pain in the butt to remove. Didn't realize how much I didn't remove until after I pulled out of my buddys half lit garage and into the sun. Used some Eagle One Wet Wipe and Shine to help get residue off. Anybody got any suggestions to a painless removal of SG? Also, is SG really necessary. What if you did 2 coats of AIO every couple months? Would it be too hard on the clearcoat? Now it's time to put a couple of layers of SG on the car. Hopefully it will be so reflective that it'll blind everyone so that they'll never notice the black paint is scratched all to heck! Why did I buy black?

SG is the whole shine of Klasse. AIO give a pretty good shine but nothing like SG. More than one layer of AIO won't really make a difference. Mainly it is just a cleaner and a foundation for the SG. There are several tips in here about how to remove SG. Using a damp towel is one way. I've always had pretty good success with a QD and an MF towel. It is definatly worth the time it takes to buff it off. Remember: Thiner coats are better. If you can see it then you've used too much. The thinner the coat, the eaiser it is to buff off. :xyxthumbs

SG can be difficult to get off if you put too much on the applicator. Luckily, I used the instructions that snake supplied in the package and I got the same results as he did without using a PC.

Redneck, you are on your way to being a certified Autopian. :D

Do tell! How are they different from the current conventional wisdom?

I have pretty good luck removing with a damp MF followed by a dry one (funny to see I'm sure, me going around the car wiping with both hands :) )

As in the directions included from Proper Auto Care, I moisten the applicator pad with Eagle One Wipe & Shine when I apply SG. Removal, even with a dry MF towel, is VERY easy. Make sure you use small amount of SG.

Yesterday i had the damp towel in one hand followed by the dry one on the other hand, i was moving both hands together... luckily no one was watching ... i think

I like your signature.

Any qd is fine. I use Meguiars.

First I mist 60% of the panel with qd and I buff it off.

Next I use another towel to wipe whatever is left off.

I JUST started to use QD, if and when I run out I am not going to go out asap to buy more, I don't really need it. For some reason or another I can always remove the Glaze pretty easily. It's not that much a burden.
