Klasse AIO or Collinite

I live in the South and have a daily driver, dark green 1996 Discovery. I've used an AIO/UPP combo but have also heard good things about Collinite waxes.

Which is better for durability? Would the Collinite melt in summer heat? Which offers more protection to the paint from acid rain, gravel roads, and bird droppings.

I love this site and really enjoy your opinions and expertise.

If you're really after durability, then I would go AIO/SG, and then whatever topper you want, be it UPP or wax. I wouldn't go Collinite, as SG will outlast ANY wax, including Collinite. So you might as well shoot for beauty and do Soveran, P21S, etc.

I've used both the AIO/SG and Collinite within the last couple months. Keeping in mind that I have a strong preference for wax over synth, in my opinion the AIO/SG looks far superior to Collinite. I can't say about the durability; nothing is ever left on my car long enough for it to matter. But, since others say AIO/SG lasts longer, and this dedicated waxer says it also looks better, I'd say go with AIO/SG.

I wasn't overly blown away by the apperance of Collinite, but I might be getting jaded.

Me either! I recently used Collinite Super Double Coat. It looked ok, but nothing like S100 or Blitz.

The next day I topped the Collinite with Blitz.
