Klasse AIO deeper than Z-PC

I have been using Zaino products and Klasse AIO and SG for some years now.

But more recently, i can attain Zaino products A LOT more easily (no online orders) now, so it is my LSP solely nowadays.

For the first time this past weekend I finally had a chance to use Z-PC.

Well let me tell you i was rather dissapointed with it. I first tried it with my LC white pad at speed 3/4 and the dusting simply drove me away.

So I applied it by hand. Again, dissapointed in that , I did not see the depth i was expecting as i'm normally see when using AIO. I guess I unfortunately expected too much from z-pc. Great smell though.

I did manage to get a good finish with z2 pro x3 with z8 in between and it came out silky smooth which i like.. and will be posting in subsequent click n brag forums..

But overall, i think AIO is still a better "cleanser" than z-pc.

so in future i'm gonna be going with AIO under z2 pro..

thanks for reading.. and just my $.02

AIO and Z-PC are different products, therefore different appearances will come. AIO is not a pure polish like Z-PC, nor does AIO have the polishing abilities of Z-PC. Z-PC has more bite.

I give my pads a couple of good squirts with distilled water before applying any polish...this really helps cut down on dusting problems.

Like Zane said, those are two completely different products you're comparing there.

ZPC is an abrasive-containing polish meant to leave the surface completely clean, ready for LSP.

AIO is a non-abrasive one-step cleaner/sealant that can be considered its own LSP.

Ah! Thanks for the info.

I know I've had luck with AIO removing slight swirls, but I think at the time it was more a function of the pad than the product.

If the dusting of Z-PC bothers you, go with Optimum Polish. With a Z-7 wash, you should be good to go, or go over your car again with AIO before Z-2.

Z-PC will leave only the surface of your paint, nothing else. What you see after Z-PC is your actual paint...uncontaminated.

AIO contains protective properties which it leaves on your paint, so the 'depth' you're describing is due to AIO's acrylic layer.

Z-PC and AIO cannot be directly compared, IMHO.:)

I haven't used Z-PC, but like Scott said you might try some Optimum. I still have grease all over my hands from detailing my sisters car today - first time I've used the compound aside from on my car. It's just like the polish, which I love. There is like *0* dusting. My only gripe, and it's a minor one, is that you need to work it a long time to break it down with a PC or it's kind of hard to remove all the way.

To be honest Zaino's cleanser is the best paint cleanser for cleaning paint I have ever tried. It will removed road tar like it's butter. One of the first times I tried Z-pc I used it on a truck bed overspray and was amazed that it removed the overspray when nothing else could, AIO and many other products didn't touch it. As for how it sets a shine, I don't really have any info on that but if your paint has nasty contamination I would use Z-PC before anything else. I'm sure AIO would look deeper because it adds a LSP, so naturally it would look better, Z-pc needs a second step. I still like AIO for jams and I have even talked the guy who took over my clients into offering an express detail which includes AIO then Z8, it turns out this is a pretty good looking combo. But I will have to say I disagree with your analogy of Z-PC, it simply cannot be beat for it's cleaning abilty, nothing eats road tar and old bug stuff like this stuff.

I just used Z-PC this weekend. Just not happy with it at all. Lots of dusting and doesn't seem to remove light swirls easily. It removed less than SSR-1, I guess this is another step before LSP if I were to use it.

PS. The smell is pleasant but attracted yellow jackets like crazy.

Of all those yummy smelling products I found NOTHING attracts bees and other hymenopters (wasps and hornets) like zymol car wash.

I suggest to leave some zymol wash far from where you are working ;)

So it's the smell that does it? I always notice after I clear a car the bees are all over it. I thought maybe they were running into their own reflections, but I guess it makes sense that they want to lick Natty's, it smells so good. :D
