Klasse AIO and NXT booster?

tomorrow im goin to do my first full detail with a PC and polish!:bounce . i brought NXT booster wax (spray) instead of the regular NXT (pretty stupid of me:o ). im planning on polishing, then klasse, then nxt booster THEN top with #26. i was wodner if the NXT booster below the #26 would make a difference in looks and durability over the regular NXT? or should i just skip the NXT booster and go from AIO to #26?

thats 3 different products ! Interesting combo. IMHO, you need something over the AIO to bring the gloss up a bit, but now comes the interesting thing, will the booster "boost" AIO ? Applying NXT over AIO, IMO, would be using a strong cleaner with a mild sealant level and going over it with a milder cleaner with a stronger sealant concentration....( just observe curing time considerations in your process) I am not sure of what the booster contains in terms of polymer content, but I assume it, being a suppliment to NXT would be weaker. The #26 is very effective, moderately bullet-proof, and should finish whatever you do nicely. Please post your results, this is really interesting if the NXT booster has a visible effect on top of AIO. (it just might):xyxthumbs
 
interesting. hmm, ill try it out tomorrow! so excited on doing my first detail! sorry no pics (sister took my powershot a520...). but ill let you guys know if its better than AIO topped with 26 alone!! thanks!
 
I've used the liquid 26 and topped with NXT booster. really adds a nice gloss to the finish that liquid 26 can't on its own. I'd do AIO,26 and NXT booster. I've found that a small hairspray type bottle applies NXT booster nicely- one mist and wipe with a MF cloth until it disapears

That's what we're here for, to break new ground. I say give it a shot and see what happens. I have a bottle of the Booster that I've never even sniffed.
 
ok. i polished, aio, and applied 1 layer of NXT booster spray wax on top of the AIO with a lc finshing pad. tok away soem of the depth but incrase the reflection and gloss a LOT. ill wait a few more hours and apply another coat of NXT booster spray wax. then maybe tomorrow ill top it with #26 and see what happens. i just want to try this out because i just brought a bottle of booster wax. you guys think its better if i shouldve went from AIO straight to #26 x 2?. btw this stuff smells great! makes you wanna drink it!

edit; the bottle of nxt booster saids i can use it as QD. is it true?

yeah, same here. i just put #26 over the booster wax. like it a lot better than just the booster wax alone. decrased the shiney gloss a little and increased the depth. i love the depth of #26!! ill let you guys know when i do the 2nd coat of 26 tomorrow if i dont get it done by today. then im planning put putting another coat of nxt booster wax ontop of the 2nd coat of #26 to increase the gloss again.

edit: should putting nxt booster wax over #26 be ok? does it have any cleaners?

Putting NXT booster over #26 should be fine. But, if you want to maximize the life of the #26 you should use a carnauba based spray wax. I recommend the Optimum Car Wax.



Mike Phillips over on the MOL board stated that NXT booster does not have any specialized cleaners. IMO NXT booster will clean about as much as any QD due to the water content and the mechanical effect of rubbing your mf across the paint.
 
ok, cool ill try it out ontop of 26. just finished putting on the 2nd coat of #26 and it started to rain (dont you just hate it when that happens?) , so ill be trying out NXT booster on top of the 26 tomorrow. ill let you guys know what i think of it. so far the qx4 looks wet and deep. gloss is ok but ill try the nxt booster to incrase the gloss.
