Kit Wax Scratch Out

I saw this product at the local walmart and was wondering how this stuff is. When reading the directions on the back of the bottle, I found it strange that it claimed to only need to be wiped on and off. (I would think that with any abrasive, it would give better results with rubbing)

I suppose it is possible that this is just a glaze with slight polishes, but I'd think it was mostly a mild abrasive. It was cheap, under $2 if I recall correctly, so I might give it a shot. A lot cheaper than meguiars scratch x, so that is a major incentive.

Here is the link for further investigation...

What do you think?

Probley just has lots of Polymers and fillers that hide the scratchs unlike abrasives which remove them

I have a bottle of this stuff. It seems ok for your average polish wax job. Its a step above mild when i rubbed it between my fingers. It almost felt like 3M Finesse It II.

Haven't touched it in a while,

hope this helps,

Jason

Thanks Jason, that helped give me a good idea. By "a step above mild", what do you consider mild? (so does it fall between...say...SMR and DACP....something like Meguiars own Scratch X? Sorry, I'm more familiar with the meguiars line. )

Your Welcome

Yes, I would put this KIt product between Meguiar's #9 2.0 and DACP, but it is not in the middle, its leaning toward the #9 side.
