i have a client who let his father borrow his 06 king ranch, while at a store he left the windows down and a sprinkler came on while he was in the store........the water smelled like heavy sulfur and has spotted the seats, i tried a high quality cleaner and conditioner with little improvement.......any ideas, the guys not expecting a miracle, but i would love to improve it

Are the seats actually dry?
In my experience with King Ranch vehicles, the soft leather will look spotted until it is dry.
If it is dry and you have water spots, you should go to Ford and get the leather cleaner & condition specified in the owner's manual. They probably won't have it in stock because, after all, no one reads the owner's manual. But order it, and use that.
If that doesn't work, talk to a tack specialist. It is a similar leather used in Horse supplies.
Any pictures?
Oh, and the little black spotting you can get on that leather IS the wear & tear.

i originally used the king ranch products that came with the truck and nothing i then used my johnson's cleaner/conditioner and it helped alot i'll post pics next time i do that truck it did improve alot after i (used a blow dryer on low heat) i don't have a air mover:D dried it out better....i guess the leather was somehow holding the moisture......the spotting was actually milky colored

I did a King Ranch last week. When I cleaned the seats, it took over an hour to dry in the Texas sun before I could apply the conditioner.

I have used this product for the tuff stuff on leather...its time consuming but on leather as nice as KL it would be worth the time and effort

Have a look at the site the owner is very good with quick answers
