Well I have been poking around this site for some time now. I have been searching for better ways to spruce up my vehicles and stumbled on this site last year and haven't made the intro. First, I am from the New England area and paint finishes suffer in this neck of the woods. Salt, sand and just crappy winters do a number on the daily driver. I have found so much information on this site and now am considering doing some Detailing part-time. I just received my pc and place an order on some yellow, white and black pads. I have the pb's spray and gloss (great stuff) and have the mf and pb QD on the way. Is it me or can this detailing get addictive?

Welcome!! I know how that weather is. I live in Minnesota and it is the same way. I hate it haha. TO answer your question: its not you. Detailing is addictive. Just try to hold on to your wallet haha.
