Kevin Brown~BuffDaddy.com / Machine Polishing & Sanding Sub-Forum Sponsor

David Fermani

Forza Auto Salon
I’d like to give a very warm welcome to the Godfather & Ambassador of DA machine polishing and our newest Autopia.org sponsor Kevin Brown of BuffDaddy.com. Kevin has not only changed the way many think about paint correction, but he’s also been an inspiration for both professionals and enthusiasts all over the world looking to understand and step up their skills with a Dual Action polisher. Kevin has been one of the select few to help in the development of the Meguiar’s MicroFiber DA Polishing System and has been working closely with Meguiar’s to develop state of the art products for quite a long time.

Here are some of Kevin’s creations:

:waxing::waxing::waxing::waxing::waxing:

Kevin is truly a car guy and has been pushing the boundaries of detailing for nearly 30 years. As many might be aware, the term KBM (Kevin Brown Method) was coined after the revolutionary principals that Kevin has adapted and have been proven to literally devastate paint defects all while producing incredible volumes of gloss and shine. Kevin is now willing to devote his time to helping Autopians understand and tackle the art of paint defect removal. This is truly a win-win for Autopia and all that take advantage of this opportunity.

In exchange I ask that we consider Kevin when in the market for a new machine, polishing compound or accessory. Kevin sells a complete line of Meguiar’s and is one of the exclusive resellers of Mirka abrasives. Kevin is also working hard at bringing some new and very exciting new brands as well.

Here are some pictures taken from the Buff Daddy website that I find totally awesome: (can also be viewed here: About )

Let’s give a warm re-welcoming to Kevin Brown & BuffDaddy.com as our latest and greatest sponsor!!!
:woot:

I have adopted the Kevin Brown method of DA polishing as the base of my day to day detailing work, and have been blown away by the results it provides. A little tweak here and there for different scenarios, products, pads, etc, but mostly follow what reading his articles has taught me. Thank you Kevin for what you have done for the pro detailing community!!

How cool is this? This is absolutely awesome. Kevin you have change my way of detailing forever. If Autopia could roast one man it would be you. So help me god I would pay big bucks to be there. Your a man of knowledge and most importantly expeirance. As always I'm excited to read your next article, and also ask you some questions that just don't make sense. :nana: Congrats Kevin hopefully this brings more growth and prosperity to your business.

Having read some of Kevin's articles an seeing pictures of work made me give the PC a try for correction work.

Glad you are here!

Mr KBM aka Buffdaddy is the "Salt of the Earth", vast knowledge and without hubris he needs the detailing community's support. He also knows where great "Snacks" are located in his part of town.

Welcome Kevin, great to have a guy with your knowledge that's prepared to share it with others. Look forward to our insights

We are all so fortunate to have had Kevin's help along the way. Besides for his vast knowledge of polishing paint, he is very humble and easy to talk to.

Thanks for the intro David, and the recommendation to become a sponsor of autopia.org. This is the only detailing forum I know of (or participate in, anyway) that is owned by a product manufacturer yet still allows a free-flow of posts and information about competing products.

Your website is very nice. Great to have somone with your talent willing to help here. Will you be writing more articles?

Thanks for the compliment on the site. I did the best I could using the software I ended up with. It wasn't easy, and didn't turn out at all liked I'd envisioned it. Still, I hope it comes across as easy to navigate while still providing quality information. I will continue to write about "stuff".

Bob, it takes one to know one! Thank you for access to you via phone, for opening your shop to Jason and me, and for taking detailing & paint correction to a prideful place.

Bryan, I appreciate the compliments. You were one of the first guys to try out some of the "experimental" processes I've written about. The fact that you tried and then wrote about your experiences certainly gave credence to my "methods"!
