Keeping the pad wet? AIO and SG

Quick question: I've been reading on this site that you have to keep the polishing pad wet for certain products when using a PC. When using Klasse AIO, SG, Sonus SFX2 and 3; do you have to keep the pad wet with quik detailer? Should QD be used or just plain water? Should extra wetness be added to a pad when using polishes EVER? Or just AIO and SG?
 
I was thinking the same thing, more for Klasse SG though - a mist of Sonus Acrylic Glanz then some SG onto the pad, might make it go on thinner? AIO seemed to go on/come off no problem, but the SG seemed difficult to get off.
 
For Klasse AIO I like to prime the pad with a spray of distilled water, I allways apply Klasse SG via a small spray bottle to a dry MF pad and never have a problem. I have not used the Sonus range so cannot comment sorry.
 
I used AIO once with the PC. Didn't really do much a difference except that I ended up using more, and I still perfer to apply it by hand one a damp MF pad.



W/ SG, I always apply by hand with a DRY MF pad.

A fresh pad tends to absorb a lot of product, so when begin, you have to add more product to the pad more often because of this absorbtion. It goes into the pad intead of on the paint. Squeezing the pad a bit brings it out.



So when we say the pad is "primed" or loaded, the pad is fairly damp and you need to add less and less product to the pad, because more if it makes it onto the paint.



Just depends on the product, but this is my experience with anything via PC.
