Usage directions:

Make sure wheel is clean and completely dry of water before application

Shake well before using

Hold approximately 4 to 6 inches away from wheel surface.

Spray wheel surface with a THIN, EVEN coating of product. Be sure to cover recessed areas, so the entire surface is covered.

Do not touch the wheel once you have applied the product as this will remove the coating from the surface of the wheel.

O Okay I need to get some glasses haha

Just bought some for $3.99, and I will be taking it back tomorrow for a refund. The product smells like diesel fuel, and dried with white streaks all over my factory painted wheels. I followed the directions to the letter, and the white "haze" was supposed to fade away, and leave an "invisible coating" behind.................Ah, no.

While I'm a fan of Eagle One products in general, I say don't waste your money on this product......................Terrible.

Sounds like you applied it too heavily. It should work fine with just a light misting.

It's a similar product to Sonax by the sounds of it. It's solvent based so it's far more effective than a regular car wax.

Having said that, Michelin's product seems to be water-based but is very effective. European chemists are brilliant!

Bought this about a week ago, tried it that day.. must say my wheels are holding up quite nicely. I, personally, think it works good. They claim it works for up to 2 weeks, and I see it potentially going longer.

I bought some of this stuff yesterday. I've been missing my Michelin Brake Dust repellant since AZ stopped selling it. Will report back...

Keep Clean Wheel™ – 18 oz.

Repels brake dust & road grime for up to 2 weeks

  • Apply after cleaning wheel (this is not a wheel cleaner)

  • Protects wheels from corrosive brake dust

  • Makes it easier to clean wheels every time you wash

  • Usage directions:
  • Make sure wheel is clean and completely dry of water before application

  • Shake well before using

  • Hold approximately 4 to 6 inches away from wheel surface.

  • Spray wheel surface with a THIN, EVEN coating of product. Be sure to cover recessed areas, so the entire surface is covered.

  • Do not touch the wheel once you have applied the product as this will remove the coating from the surface of the wheel.
IMPORTANT NOTE:

Surface should appear wet. During the drying process, the surface of the wheel will appear hazy for approximately 5- 15 minutes. Wait 10-15 minutes before using your vehicle. Coating will be invisible once it has dried.

I've used this stuff before, I too sprayed it too heavy and got the white stuff. After a few weeks/months it still keeps the wheels pretty clean(well, it makes them much easier to clean, dirt washes right off). I got it for super cheap, so I'm happy with it. My white streaks went away after the first wash, and it didnt appear to take all the coating off. It works nice i rainy climates because it sort of washes your wheels all the time :P

The test car has now been driven about 150 miles since I applied it. There's almost no evidence of brake dust ! No bad :)
