K&N air filter - where to order from Canada

Hi everyone.

Living here in Ontario, Canada, it seems that if one wants a K&N filter, one has to order it from somewhere.

Where would be a good source (aka inexpensive too) to place an order?

Thank you.

i've seen a few k&n filters at canadian tire, didn't see a cone one but i'd assume they could order one in from the parts desk if you had a part number or someting

eBay will probably be your best bet price wise. You may just have to keep checking until you find one you like. I didn't think there were that many choices.

What kind of vehicle is it for?

It's for my 2004 Monte Carlo (the one in my avatar). It's got a 3.4 liter engine so I was looking for something like the RE-0930 or RU-2590. I saw a couple on ebay but they didn't ship to Canada. Jegs and Summit might but at the price + shipping, I may as well order it through a local shop at a high price too.

Yep... called them and Parts Source.. both charged $55 for the part... eventually found one on ebay and bidding on it... it's over tonite. Cross my fingers I'm the winner :-)

In case your ebay auction doesn't work out, we have Lordco auto supply shops all over the place here in BC and they handle K&N so maybe you have Lordco too.

Another brand you might consider is ITG, they make performance air filters also.

I drive a BMW Z3 M Coupe, a really high performance car and I looked at the K&N but opted for the highly rated ITG instead.

I got mine from Ulticarparts in Montreal. About the same price as K&N.

PM me if you need more info.

K&N makes good filters but there is a lot of competition out there these days. Even Amsoil has developed a new air filter series that surpasses K&N and AEM and Spoon and hopefully they have one for your ride.

You can also save 25% by ordering direct at Amsoil

Why is it that every post you have made so far is about Amsoil? I smell a schill!
