Educate me on Jeffs Werkstatt Prime. (standard version)

I've read it; know how its supposed to work and what it does...

For cars with *light* swirls; does it have any cut at all when applied via PC w/orange LC pad?

For general use does it work well when applied via LC white on PC?

How does it relate compared to say PoliSeal?

Any input would be appreciated :think2

Very little cut, it is best used to prep for AJ or other sealants, not for correction. Works great with a polishing pad.

Poli-Seal has more cut (but only enough for light defects) and has a more carnauba appearance than Prime.

You asked specifically about standard prime, but Prime Strong works a lot like a fine finishing polish. It does just fine on light swirls as long as it's not hard paint.

I figured you would use a finishing pad with Prime rather than a polishing pad. Isn't the paint pretty much perfected by the time you get to Prime?

I guess I should have been more specific. I use blue pads that are referred to by the manufacturer as polishing pads but they are nearly as soft as finishing pads. However, on harder paints that you aren't doing any deep polishing on, Prime with a polishing pad does a great job deep cleaning the paint.

That makes since. Thanks Scott!
