Just when I thought I'd seen the worst

I get this :nervous: 2005 BMW X3.... Owner has 2 infants and admitted it hadnt been cleaned since they took ownership a couple years ago :nervous2:

Not much to say about it really. I'm sure the pics will do most of the talking. I'd explain what I was trying to remove, except that she, nor I really knew, lol. :tumblewee A lot of the colored stains were not going to budge, as hard as i tried. They've just been sitting for too long...

Anyway, I used ultrapac traffic clean, coffee and tannin spotter, myteelite, p21s, natural look and a whole lot of towels :)

Hey at least you gave it your best and it still came out terrific. Definitley better than before. I remember seeing a recent interior clean-up and someone asked "would you sit in it?" and this is one car I would definitley not want to sit in. That is before you cleaned it up.

as long as its not in another 2 years... that'd be fine :) they were very happy w/ the results and asked for a handful of cards to pass out to friends who needed work done as well.

Beautiful work there man!!!

wish they spent the $$$ on some all weather mats.

You could stain them.

How long did it take? Please don't tell me you chatged $120.00 :wall :wall :D

*** is wrong with those people? I have to imagine they have done pretty well for themselves to be driving a BMW. You would think that work ethic would translate over to their car as well.....

Unlike "us," many people just think of their cars as transportation, nothing more.

I would love to see the inside of these people's house. It's either immaculate, or a dump.

good lord man, that thing was thrashed... im glad the guy i buy my stuff from can make that big of a turn around.

i really dont understand how people can do that to a vehicle. and the whole "this is why i wont have kids" thing.... bah! it's all up to the parents anyways. i let my boys eat in out cars (they're now 4&7 and have always done so, and none of my stuff EVER looks like that.

regardless - AWESOME turnaround on that :2thumbs:

Threads like these are the reason(s) why I'll never have kids.

Has almost nothing to do with having kids and almost everything to do with being lazy. Our mini van is over 7 years old and wouldn't look like that if we had *never* cleaned the inside. The car is a car and not a restaurant or in this case, a dump!!

Nice recovery on that and just what did you charge to wade in that filth?

:thx

The backseat of the 7 series can look kind of messy with our 3 yr old back there, but pick up a few toys and books, then give it a quick vac and all is well. I still have not used the extractor on that car yet and it has 95k miles. There is rarely any eating in any of our cars. So they stay nice all the time. :xyxthumbs

WOW was that thing nasty! Great turnaround, I dont understand how people let their cars get like that.

I can only imagine what the outside must be like... It hurts to think about it...

That's why I have my Rigid wall mount vac within easy reach of our van. Gets vacuumed once a week minimum and with 3yr old twin boys, it sure needs it!!! :grinno:

Heroic effort on the X3!
