And holy cow...what a great tool.
Actually my story begins with a new white Silverado with a ton of rail dust stuck in the paint. I was as gentle and careful as I could be with the clay bar to remove the debris from the paint but I still ended up with light scratching and some swirl marks.
So what did I do...I bought some 3M SMR and started to apply by hand but that was proving too much. So I stepped up to the Sonus PC kit. I used the PC, Sonus Green foam pad, masked off the trim and took my time applying the 3M SMR. The SMR did a fantastic job removing the swirls and light scratches. I then washed the truck, applied my Zaino stuff and still can't believe how good the truck looks.
This weekend the Vette gets the royal treatment. Thanks to the mfgr's for the wonderful products mentioned above and many kudos to this site.
