Just tried the new ONR

OK, but the way the older version [messed] up Collinite was pretty incredible. Heh heh, note that the Optimum experts said that it "shouldn't" do what I witnessed with my own eyes ;) So this is one case where I need specific BTDT feedback :D

I know what you mean about the "nearly LSP-like" effect, but that was a specific, and very weird issue so I'm really curious about how the new version behaves. Last time I did somebody else's car I gave him ONR to maintain it and *one wash* killed off layered Collinite to the point that I could've just skipped LSPing the car.

You use 476S upon occasion, right? (Though my concern was with both that and 845, which the older ONR simply *trashed* as if it were PrepSol or somesuch)

This is something I can definitely test. I did an ONR wash recently but have been so oddly inconsistent with washing products, detail sprays, stripping agents, spit shinning, etc that there is no way to come to a conclusion on how ONR reacted with the Collinite I had down as a base. I do know I did an ONR wash on my vehicle, which had 4 waxes/sealants being tested on the hood, and the Collinite survived just fine, so it as least wasn't a 1 shot kill [and yes, this was with Version 3].

Leadfootluke- Cool, I'll be interested in your findings if you come up with anything definitive.

With regard to the "one shot kill, AFAIK it was with the V3.

And yeah everybody, I do understand that the YMMV thing will definitely apply here, but if I can get some good info *before* spending any money on V4 I figure I might have a better chance of heading off disappointment.

Scottwax- OK, thanks for the feedback.

Out of curiosity, did you ever have issues with the previous version(s) of ONR when used on 476S?
