I made this order a few days ago: Optimum Wash No Rinse

Victoria-Chaos Wax

Dodo Juice- 3 warm colored car waxes

Natty's Red Paste Wax

I am currently using the $99.99 Blackfire Kit. So far Blackfire seems to apply and perform ok. What else can I say. Haven't needed to clay or polish yet. My car is an orangish/yellow. You really need to look hard to see any swirls and stuff. I love black, but glad I chose this color instead.

Was thinking about getting the Dodo Shampoos, but the amount you get just doesn't justify IMO the cost. I will wait to see if any seller will have a shampoo sale. But that's the beauty of an open market-----while we still have one.
 
christian1971- When it comes to shampoos, I don't mind spending a bit to get what I want (namely stellar lubricity and good cleaning while being LSP-friendly). I'd buy the shampoo for *functional* reasons. No little bottles for me though, I get my Griot's Car Wash in gallons.



BTW, the BF shampoo seemed really harsh on LSPs, but that was a while ago and it might not be the same stuff these days.



Heh heh, that's a scad of different LSPs you have there, wonder what you'll conclude after you're tried 'em :think:
 
I too have a hard time spending money on small volumes of shampoo, the one that always comes to mind for me is Zaino Z7. It's $9 bucks for 16 ounces, which isn't great pricing wise.. but it's my favorite shampoo to use. Price: $0.56c / oz



I've got a gallon of the Optimum car shampoo that I haven't even gotten into yet, AFAIK that was in the $30 dollar mark. Price: $0.23c / oz.



Then again I want to grab a gallon of the Duragloss 901.. but I think if I got a whiff of the cherry scent I might hurl. (I have issues with cherry foods/scents due to a 'mishap' with cherry flavored chew as a teen) Price: $0.20c /oz.

Yeah, for some reason Cherry isn't something I want to smell from my carwash. Ditto for Grape in dressings/etc.
