Just Ordered Quick Shine! - Will Compare to Meg's FD...

I've been using FD for over a year now and I will say that the first application of FD is not very slick. HOWEVER if you're lucky enough to use FD at least two or three more times before washing the car you'll find that it builds a very slippery "Hard" layer on your paint which keeps most anything from sticking on your paint. Give it a try (if you live in dry climates) you won't be dissapointed. I've noticed best results when I've waited at least a day before applying FD again. I've also noticed very little can go a long ways when using FD that second or third time.

Although I've decided not to order any FD because of its reported lack of slickness, I must admit that all the other hype about its shine is having somewhat of a galvanizing effect on me.

That's exactly how I've been feeling as well...slickness is my #1 characteristic I look for...my main QD's are Z6 and QS...however, I'm also a Mother's Showtime user as well...QS is definitely slicker than ShowTime but Showtime seems to ->ME<- to have a better gloss due to what I *believe* are the silicones in it...kinda like FD...

this is what is intriguing me to try the FD ...*I* want to see if there are any similarities between the two...I know that this thread is about FD but it just caught my attention when everyone started explaining their results with FD...alittle "grabby" with the MF towels, but produced outstanding gloss...very similar results to what I have found with Mother's Showtime (other than the fact that they're both pink in color :p )...
