Just drove 500+ miles

Hey guys, new to the board! I just drove from California to Tucson, AZ. I got home and went to sleep. So by that I mean that all the dried bugs on my front bumper, hood and window have been sitting there for more than 24hrs. I dont know which bug and tar remover to use. Also do I spray each little section or mist the whole front part of my car. I did the search for a product in the archive but it was incunclusive. So I want something safe and and will not stain or strip wax. I guess I should go with meguiars because it shouldn't be very strong. THX again!

S&W from poorboys with a waffle weave micro fiber cloth to do the first wipe then a regular MF to clean the rest up. works pretty good for me.

In my case, I usually just soak the buggy areas thoroughly with my regular wash solution. Then I go wash another area while it is working on softening the bug residue. I May even do it a couple of times, depending on how bad the bugs are . Then I wash that area with my regular wash mitt just like I do the rest of the vehicle. The soaking really seems to make a big difference.
A couple of disclaimers here.
1. It doesn't get near as hot nor do we have the baking sun in Iowa that you have in your area.
2. My vehicles usually have lots of wax/sealant on them which I would hope assists in the bugs not sticking quite as well.
:dunno
Works for me.
