P1et is correct. You can't touch the tires with any sort of dressing. I guess this makes sense if you plan on taking it out to the drag strip. At 256mph, you don't want your tires failing you but it always bums me out to clean one of these things and have to leave the tires a flat black.

And exactly how is tire dressing going to make tires "fail"??:grinno:
 
congrats on working on a peice of art like this! However is it me or is there still compound haze in the reflection of the lights? It is probably just me though

Dressing is a big no-no on the sidewalls of slicks. I don't know how that would translate to the sidewalls of a very high performance custom made radial though. :nixweiss

Its his pictures. Notice how the haze is also on the glass.
