Just Cleaned Yesterday, But Dirty Today

I just cleaned my car yesterday with the rest of my Zaino Wash. I wanted to clean it up before this weekend so I could see the swirl marks real good and see what I would need for the PC. So I thought I did a decent job and took my time and dry it real good, but today when I woke up there where little specs of dirt all on the window when the sun hit it. Also the black paint still had water marks on it even though I dryed it with a leaf blower and waffle weave towel. Could it be that it is because the paint does not have any wax on it? I live near acouple trees and there is a industral plant down the highway. Could these be real bad problems for my paint and keeping it clean? How can I keep it clean for more then one day? Thanks

You're always going to get dust from the atmosphere settling on your paint. Even moreso if you live in an area of high industry. The air has all kinds of crap in it, and those various particles and pollutants will settle on your car as it sits.

It's much easier to dry a car when it's waxed. But water spots after drying usually happen when you dry the car, then drive it. Water will come out of the mirrors and the bottom of the window seals as you drive, and it will dry on your paint. Then you'll park the car, and wonder where all those spots came from.

I went to try to clean the windows today with my new window cloth and it just made them worse. The dam dirt won't come off even though I scubbed the crap out of it and used Stoners Invisible Glass. Also, now it is all smeared looking and I can't see nothing hardly though it. I don't know whats in the air around here but it is getting on my last nerve because I hate a dirty car. Man, I going to have to go on some meds for this so I don't go crazy over detailing.

Your car is black. Enough said sadly :(

QDing, a car cover, etc will become your friend!

I'm in the same situation though. I washed my car yesterday and then this morning going to school they were cutting the grass in teh medians. Ya... the entire car is covered in grass clippings because the car was covered in morning dew, so the grass stuck.

This is also in addition to me missing a good deal of paint on the left side of the vertical part of my hatch. my sister decided to close the garage door with the rear end of my car sticking out. It hurts to look at it :(

Are you talking about the inside of the windows or the exterior? If it's on the exterior, you really don't need to use a glass cleaner. A car wash soap is the best IMO. If they get dusty, then just use a QD.

And if you get streaking, grab a fresh MF and buff lightly. It should remove any leftover streaks.

It could be the water spots are from parking near sprinklers and you just happened to notice them after washing. You will probably have to clay, then polish to remove them.

There not really water spots, just wet looking spots like the paint is still wet. I don't live near any spinklers also because it is in a townhouse. I just think there is alot of dust and dirt in the air around here because of all the dam construstion to the highway and the industial plant right up the street. I just hope this weekend when I spend a whole day at polish it for the first time with my new tools that it will last for at least a couple of days clean looking.

maybe you should think of trying out finish kare's # ummmmmm #425 i think... Alot of people use it on here because it has great anti-static properties which helps keep the car cleaner longer.
