Just can't keep it clean :(

It seems I can never keep the car clean for more than day... sometimes less! My funny story for the weekend, I did a wash, clay, and S100 (just did the spring routine with polish, etc 2 months ago), and as I was doing my final pass with some #34, I notice a bird left a nice present on my trunk and back windshield  So I QD it off and go on.... :)

I knew full well it was suppose to rain Tuesday, but oh well, I wash anyway, just like every week... but mother nature decides to turn on the hose in the sky and test my fresh coat of S100... :(

It seems every weekend I detail and it never keeps clean from the rain a day at the most (I don't know how many times I have pulled a freshly detailed car out of the garage into the rain, that stinks even more).

Does anyone else seem to have this happen constantly? :sosad

Yes. My car, especially in the spring (pollen, rain, construction) is always dirty after about 3 hours out of the garage.

Here in Memphis, we are in a florida pattern where it rains just a little everyday. These rain drops coupled with the construction dust and pollen make for a filthy car.

Have no fear. I've found the perfect solution for your problem.

Poorboys Spray & Wipe. Use it everyday or every other day. You will absolutely fall in love with this product. I have a black car that is clean or at least looks clean to 99% of the people in the world ALL OF THE TIME.

Give it a fair shot and you'll become a believer as well.

P.S. We feel your pain!!!

It's the primary reason I ride around in a "daily driver". I get sick and tired of trying to stay ahead of the mandatory cleaning.

Where I'm at we have 3 limestone plants and a landfill. You can't get out of town with out going through dust. Then add a little rain and the cars are white top and bottom. Makes for a lot of work.

I agree. That is what I am working on getting right now. My car is looking flawless but now they are predicting T-Storms. This is why I hate Maryland. :down

And when did the news start referring to thunder as "thunder-boomers?"

I have it backwards. My garaged car is white and the daily is maroon:o 20/20 hindsight.

Well, I worked my butt off on my wife's car Saturday because it wasn't supposed to rain for over a week.

Well, it sprinkled yesterday morning. Today there was only a 30 % chance of rain, but it showered pretty hard. My wife didn't come home from work for lunch, and maybe it won't rain anymore before 5.

It always rains within 3 days of a detail job for me.

Happens to me all the time. I still get a lot of pleasure form washing my car. I find it very relaxing.

you all need to move out to california :)

it's been in the mid 70-80s here for the past three weeks. No rain and just a little dust.

actually, all our cars will be crushed in the next earthquake, but at least they'll be shiney

I do too... I would just like to admire my accomplishment for once! :lol ;)

I've come to the conclusion that my detailing ritual somehow mimics a Native American "Rain Dance." It actually rains just because I did my Jeep. :grrr

Yep, wont rain for MONTHS after my last detail. Now that I think of it, it hasn't rained for months anyway. I still have a black car so I do feel your pain!
