Congrats on the new Z. Just the night before last, I was watching a special on how they assemble the C6 Z06 by hand. They have some COOL tools they use to hang the doors and stuff. Great choice. That right there is probably my FAVORITE car in the world.

One of my regulars has a black Z06 and I last polished it in April. I am the ONLY one (other than 1 dealer wash) who washes it and when I last cleaned it a week ago (late February), the paint was still 90-95% swirl free. With careful washing you can do the same. Unlike most solid black paint, the Corvette black is pretty hard so once it is polished out, it is easier to maintain in a swirl free condition than most cars. :up
