I was wondering what the general idea was about having air hose lines at a car wash that was still a coin wash. I have had this idea for about a year now but was wondering what you guys thought. I personally think that it is the best way to clean your car from under the seats and vents. Things like that other people, especially for those who are unlike us,that dont keep there cars immaculate. But like the title says just a thought.
 
cant honestly say that i have looked into cost, but what i was thinking is to have an air compressor woudlnt cost that much. My dad owns a body shop and to run his body shop for an average of 8 employees is below 200 dollars a month. Compressors are minimum maintence and basically only need electricity.(as far as i have known) also the ocassional times you have to empty the water out of the tank
 
This sounds like a good idea, but I can just imagine what some people would do with the air hose. I say that because of the condition of the vacs at the coin-ops.

Most wouldn't do it for a couple of reasons



a) safety --- Air blown articles become projectiles and no one wears safety glasses. People also are stupid and will blow air at others or stick the nozzle on someones skin. Air injected in the blood stream can be deadly.



b) Compressed air would be used to blow water off the car and the air can lift poorly prepped or chipped paint.
