Just a few cars that we have detailed

Excellent work all the way around. Nice upsell with the clear bras too. Looks like your business is really booming. :up

ebpcivicsi- [Insert usual :bow regarding your work here..you're really good at this stuff, speedy too ;) ]

Sheesh, that red 'vette really *did* have some extreme, and oddly configured, marring

Glad to hear the Collinite is working out so well for you. Any instances of it muting metalflake to the extent that it did (at least *IMO*) on the Yukon?

And no, :o I *still* haven't tried that shampoo sample.

The 476 will, especially if the car has "heavy" metallic flake. IMO, it is well worth it if durablility is a concern. I find the 845 and 476 look slightly differnt upon initial application, but after a few washes they look the same. I have limited experience with them (just started using them together after you gave the "sample" :D ).

LOL, I figured that it would take you a little while to try that shampoo! Perhaps you'll get another loaner from the dealer that needs a full detail. :D

Diesel MDX, I used both and can't remember which cars got what. :(

I'm amazed at the level of OP in that S500, especially when you compare it to similar cars like the Lexus LS. Still fantastic work though. I also really like the Ardex stuff you used on the tires. How much and where do you get it?

I buy the ARDEX from a local distributor who comes by the shop--I *think* that I pay around $30 a gallon for the new concept. I really like that look that it provides, not to mention it's water-proof after appliaction.

tabinha, staggered Asantis? I really like them, but different strokes for different folks I guess. :D

Same here, except that the 476S keeps muting the flake more (in the cases where it does that).

Heh heh, I just *knew* your customers would like it though, I bet they simply  when they see the beading for the first time :D

I might try the shampoo on my next beater project (trashed '00 A8) but I think that one's gonna need a heavy-duty decontamination  Maybe Stoddard will give me a good loaner to wash when I'm getting its mechanical work done...heaven knows they're gonna have it for a while!

Sounds like you're busy busy busy these days.

Great looking... really wet looking....I have a question..how is the clear bra cared for...can you use a sealant on it....... an AIO. I am pretty new to this so your response would be appreciated. I am sure you cannot use a PC on it.....Thanks

Sorry I missed this! I typically use Collinite 476s or opti-seal, and then maintian with the OCW. You basically just treat it like paint.

great job, do you put any kind of product or LSP under the clear bras before the install or is it just bare paint after the polishing?

I use some of the Ardex products myself. New concept is definitely my tire shine of choice. Have you ever tried New Wave APC? It works very well, even on some tough dump trucks I have to do weekly. Fortunately, I live about 15 minutes from the Ardex factory, so I can just head right on over there to get everything I need...I end up feeling like a kid in a candy store! :woot2:

Agreed.

Any way, awesome work on all the cars :goodjob

stunning results on all of them....just love the different tastes in car mods from both sides of the Atlantic :)

Again, great reminder of the importance of skilled prep, rather than LSP choice. I have finally learned that lesson now, and stopped my search for the perfect LSP, in search of the skills to polish like that :bow

ebpcivicsi,

Great job on all the vehicles and the inspiring photos !!! Those HRE's look SICK (in a good way) on that S !!! If I saw those wheels off the car, I would not think they would work, but the DO !!!

Nice job all around !!! :up
