Nice work and great looking car!

White is one of the hardest colors to get clean...what I mean is if you miss any area it shows right now! its one of the easier color to make look shiny and way forgiving of swirls that are still there compared the black or darker colors

My God is that thing clean...I have always admired your work but that car looks really clean....

Is it just me or do you have BMw's lined up down the street waiting for you?

Have you considered giving them all a five minute wash...:D

Alot of them are from web forums I frequent.

As usual, the car looks great! :bigups

How did the CD-2 look?
Since I rarely use mine on my engine, I have been considering trying it in wheel wells.
It will be interesting to see what kind of durability it has used in that way.

PWS via #00 Steel Wool on Chrome tips.
#00 is pretty coarse stuff, but if it works for you, great.
I always stick to #0000 steel wool on chrome.

I buff it off after 10 minutes. I'm sure it'll last a good share. Maybe 2-3 weeks.

Really. I bought mine off ADS and that was all they offer. I've been using it now for a little over 6 months with no bad results. I've even used it on glass at times to help remove overspray that Medium Grade clay did not remove. What brand do you use and where do you buy it?

Wow that's oil eater on those wheels? As in Costco oil eater? 50/50? or less dilution? Brushed and pressure washed?

I am impressed!

Yeah. 1:1 with water. Works well. Not the strongest stuff but definately one of the safer ones. I am really tired of using acidic cleaners on wheels, so lately its been taing me a bit longer with these german wheels to get them clean. I probably clean and rinse each wheel atleast 2-3 times.

I wouldn't have given any thought to buffing the CD-2 after application. Looks like I should give it a try if we ever get dry roads here again. :wall

I don't remember the brand or where I purchased it, but it was from a local store.
My first guess was our ACE Hardware store, but it could have been Menard's or Wal*Mart.

FWIW, info from a Google search.
Grade Descriptions:
* "0000" = Super Fine
* "000" = Extra Fine
* "00" = Very Fine
* "0" = Fine
* "1" = Medium
* "2" = Medium Coarse

* "4" = Extra Coarse

I got some at Lowe's. Don't remember the brand though.

that exhaust tip pic is ridiculous, the tips are chrome but they appear white from the viscous reflection of the paint, real nice good work
