JMK Detailing: 2002 Lexus GS430

Detailed another local GS today... it was pretty hammered from going thru automatic carwashes about once a week in the winter time :run:



Car prep was normal... strip wax / wash, clay, rinse, IPA.

Interior was normal... clean, protect.



Wheels:

P21S Wheel Cleaner gel 1:1

EZ Detail Brush

Uber BH Brush

Zymol Wheel Brush

Other no name brushes



Tires:

Megs APC 4:1 with tire brush

Z16 for dressing



Paint:

Menz SIP / LC 4/5.5" orange on most of the car

Menz SIP / LC 4" PFW on front and rear bumpers

Megs 205 / LC 4/5.5" white for finishing

IPA wipedowns after each stage



LSP:

ZFX'd Zaino Z5/Z2 mix (~2:1)

Z6 wipedown

Z8 wipedown

Let this be a lesson for all... do NOT run your cars thru an automatic car wash!!!!! Those brushes are killer!!!!
