Jetseal 109

It doesn't appear that there is much commentary anymore about this product. Did it not catch on? I was interested in it given the first couple of reviews. The price put me off so I was a bit cautious. Was wondering if the product splash fizzled.

I'm curious too, mainly due to CG's claim which seemed to imply it was was "revolutionary" in the world of sealants.

I think not too many people have tried it yet because it's not available on the CG website yet. And it's rather pricey!

Ah, that makes sense. I think I'll wait till the pros weigh in on this. I don't want to take the plunge for that amount of money unless it is validated. The pics posted in the initial review were very compelling though.

Yeah not widely availible here in the states. $300/gallon or $38/16oz. I got mine hand on 16oz from Paul 2 weeks ago but I haven't had a chance to use it.

I got mine and haven't used either... I'm thkning of doing half of my trunk with it and the other half with opti-seal to test durability

I just got mine from FMINUS yesterday and did use the ONE, then topped with jetseal. Simple to apply, very little on a black LC pad. Easy to wipe off. Very nice shine. A little different than WG DGPS. DGPS gives a little deeper gloss. jetseal is very reflective, wet, and shiny. I also believe no topping (wax) is necessary either. i'll give it about a couple weeks, then do it again and top with Petes53.

Now my dilemna is that FMINUS also put in a sample of WMF. I can't seem to figure out where that fits. After jetseal, before it, or replace it. ??? :nixweiss

Search fopr jdookie's post on that subject.

Anybody have thoughts on Jetseal 109. I used it on my gold Nissan Murano and can't quite make up my mind on it yet. I applied it with PC (speed 2.5-3, no pressure) and black pad and used what I thought was correct amount of product (about same amount of FMJ). It went on really thin almost too thin. I tried using more product and it went on just as thin and transparent. It wiped off easily and left a clean shine. After talking to Paul at CG, I may have not applied on correctly. After next wash, I will give it a 2nd coat by hand and not PC. As the Murano is my daily driver, a lasting sealant is more important to me than anything else. I would to give it tender loving care 2-3 per year. I do have CG WMF which I haven't tried yet. I do not ordered or tried CG M-Seal yet.

I have CG WMF, JetSeal 109, Ultima PaintGuard Plus and OptiSeal and two black cars planned for comparo. I hope to have first results in about two weeks.

jetseal109 is amazing stuff...very wet and carnauba like for a sealant...goes on easy and comes off super easy...if you have questions about the durability i have been doing a lot of "stress" tests on the product...my girlfriends s2000 and roomates avalanche are still slick as the day i put it on...and jetseal is definitely protecting against sprinkler water from etching the paint...i can wipe waterspots off with my finger and there is no residual left even after over a month since the last application...amazing stuff that is easily worth the 40 dollar price tag...

Jetseal does seem to bead very nicely. I applied last weekend and this is the 2nd heavy thunder storm. Rain is tapering off now so I thought I would share a couple of snaps. The beads roll off with very little effort even when though car was pretty dirty (300 miles of highway road construction so far this week). I did apply Jetseal to trim, headlights, and emblems which buffed off very easily without haze. I still want to apply a 2nd coat (this time by hand) within the next few days or weekend.
