Hi guys,

I am anticipating delivery of the duragloss #111 and AW. I also have the Acrylic Jett and Prime Carnauba. I am thinking of this sequence and wonder if it's workable.

1. Optimum polish

2. AIO or FPII or Prime Carnauba (I have not decided)

3. #111

4. AJ

5. AW

I am using a DA with the above.

Thanks

Thanks. Are there alternative to 601 PBA? I got the duragloss from ebay cos they wouldnt ship to my country so shipping is rather costly. will try the above combi to see how well it goes.

I think you will be fine with AIO and AJ or 111. No need to use both AJ and 111

I usually use sealant so wanted a sealant coat before AW. We have rain plus sun here every now and then so the pdts doesn't seem to last as long

I do not think you would have a problem useing AIO as a base...or the JW acrylic prime

Just polish your paint with the OP...

lay down your AIO....or A prime

Use your 111....it is your sealant..not really a polish..just called one...very durable at that..

and maintain with AW..for added shine and slickness and protection...

you can try the111 over Aj or vice versa..but seems redundent to do so..but never know..both good products...

so #111 is a sealant. pity i only ordered the 8oz. You've got any idea how else I can order duragloss other than ebay? Duragloss wldn't ship overseas.

Thanks

well try it first..see if you like it....8 oz will last awhile ..goes on thin....put it on thin...do not goob it on....I use about half oz for my pickup truck...using by hand....just mist the pad with a little..very little AW ..prime the applicator with 111 and go at it...when pad feels dry..just a pea drop will do a panel...goes on like butter when doing by hand....let it haze for 15 minutes..wipe off....rebuff again to ensure all is off....wait a hour or 2 let the 111 set up some..then use AW...to finish it up...

then if you like it..may be able to help you out with shipping some...depends on where you are..I am on the east coast of US..

AL

you need a west coast member then...shipping from the westcoast may be cheaper..they are closer I think...or shipping by USPS may be cheaper...but longer...may get thier by sea mail...

AL

lay down 2-3 coats of the 111..then just maintain with the AW monthly or every 2 months or when you feel you need it.........you should be set...use your prime as a base coat since you have no bonding agent..it will work fine...no need to do 111 weekly just get 2-3 coats on and stop...

the 111 is your sealant..AW is you spray sealant..and it does bring the shine up a notch and add some great slickness and very durable..a little goes a long ways...like 1 spray per panel if that....

AL

Oh...I may not have made myself clear. I already have 2 coats of #111 and 1 coat of AW. Was wondering if I can alternate between using #111 and AW as and when I like.

sure....I see no reason why not...I do not think you will achieve any better gloss..as 3 coats seem to be the magik number.....

try it and see...111 is pretty durable alone..but with using AW it will lengthen it even better...and see no need to keep adding 111 after you have layed down 3 coats....
