Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8

2012 Grand Cherokee SRT8. Detailed it when the owner first picked it up. He'd passed on detailer prep so other than a couple small areas of marring it was in excellent shape. Since then, he's done an excellent job taking care of it.

These are before shots:

...and that was the end of the sun during the detail. :wall

ONR Wash, no need to clay, paint was still glass smooth

ONR + Optimum Power Clean @ 3:1 to clean the wheels

Optimum G-P-S using an Optimum MF polishing pad and my Meguiars G110 v2 DA Polisher

Optimum Opti-Seal for even more protection and wetness

Optimum Metal Polish on the exhaust tips

ONR wash and wax @ 32:1 to clean glass

Armor All on tires/fenderwells

Woolite/water @ 20:1 to clean the leather and vinyl

3D Carpet Shampoo @ 16:1 to clean carpets and fabric seat inserts

Meguiars Interior Quick Detailer to dress vinyl

Duragloss #221 Leather Conditioner to treat the leather

If the house looks familiar, he's the same owner of the dark blue Mercedes ML500 I recently posted. And that, finally, is gone. He picked up a new Porsche Cayenne GTS for the wife, and that's on tap for next weekend. :)

I applaud the owner for doing a great job keeping it in great condition.

I also applaud you for making me want to put on my speedo and canon-balling into the paint!

That things got a HEMI! Sorry, couldn't resist, and BTW - if I win the Powerball this Saturday, that Jeep along with a JKU Wrangler (for my daughter) will be purchased!

Thanks guys. :)

Really like the new SRT8 too, interior is the biggest surprise. Much higher quality than the previous version.

Fantastic job as usual!!! Always trying to learn and I noticed two things about your detailing process: You only use a clay bar or Opt-Raser with no chemical decontamination--any reason why?? And, you use DG Leather Conditioner--why not something like Optimum Leather Protectent since most leather is coated??

We generally don't have fallout issues here, don't do a lot of Fords so rarely run into rail dust. I've got the whole ABC system, just am not running into situations where I have to use it.

I like DG because it looks good and smells great. As far as I can tell, its exactly the same as Zaino.

Scottwax- that Jeep is sure nice to look at. Nice job.

When viewing these specific pictures or others posted on this website, one thing I'm always in 'awe' about is the inside detailing of the pros. I mean, I think the outside looks equally as worthy but the interior cleanliness and appearance is amazing. For example... the carpet does not have one spot where a drivers left foot 'laid' when driving an automatic. There's no 'tracks' from any vacuum or carpet going one way (a few inches wide) and then going another (almost like a farmer's field seen from a plane.) The only way I can tell the car has been owned or driven, via the interior, is the wrinkling in the driver's seat on the left side.

On my own cars... I've never approached that level of 'showroom' appearance for any interior. And I've tried, lol!

Again bang up job!
