[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BM9T1oO_umM]Jay Leno's Heartfelt Goodbye - The Tonight Show with Jay Leno - YouTube[/ame]

He's really the only host of the Tonight Show I have ever known. In fact, I think he became the official fill-in host before I was born. What a class act he is. I hope if he decides to go to another station he is successful, and I hope he decides to go to Fox over CNN since Zucker is the one who fired him at NBC (the first time) is now the new head of that network (that recently said that they were going to redefine news - aka - go the msnbc route (or as the great one says, MSLSD :D)

Regardless, I hope this means more videos for his website/YouTube channel: Jay Leno's Garage. If you all haven't checked it out, you need to! Like right now! It's a shame that the network execs don't realize that he is number one because there is a country in between NYC and LA that he appeals to. Well, that's enough for me. He will be sorely missed and remembered for being number one for most of his time in the chair. Don't get me wrong, Fallon is great (his replacement Seth Myers, eh, not so much) but I don't know if he can get viewers coming in night after night like Leno. He can generate viral videos and clips on YouTube, but that doesn't satisfy advertisers like ratings do. Oh well, time will tell...

Exactly!

Jay's the man...

I know several people who have had the pleasure of meeting him and they all have reported the same exact thing... He is a very humble, super friendly, super great guy.

I can remember staying up late to watch Jay when I was in 5th-6th grade. Sad to see him go.

You could have left off that part about you being in 5th-6th grade. I remember watching Johnny retire when I was in my 30's.
