Clearcoats like all other plastics will eventually haze from too much exposure to Kerosene and petroleum based products...will it wear it away....depends on how often you do it...
It was fine for the pre-clearcoat cars ....I've heard of the method...know people who actually add it to their QD's .

IMO, Nu Finish is largely Kerosene or some close dirivitive. Give it a whiff next time you are in the detailing isle of your local shop. Then read the back of the bottle.
