It's showtime

Where do you get the Dry-Clean? I might still have to get that but probably do a light pre-treat to get rid of spots in my headliner.

As I said in a prior thread, the best thing for me to do this is in stages. The reason for this is that the Max is my daily driver.

Stage I: Interior

- Blow out loose dust in crevices

- Pre-treat headliner spots with EF Spot Remover

- Clean headliner with Blue Coral Dry Clean (as soon as I can get it)

- Pre-treat carpet and seats with EF Spot Remover

- Pay a visit to my friend's detail shop and use their cyclo polisher and extractor to clean the carpet and seats.

- Clay Interior glass (Stoners/Clay Magic)

- Clean vinyl and plastic surfaces with Lexol Leather Conditioner

- Clean crevices with swabs

- Clean vents with vent brush

- Clean cup holders thoroughly with swabs

- Polish plastic on speedo and radio with Plexus

- Clean gated shifter with swabs

- Polish AE Door Sills with Metal Polish

- Clean out trunk

- Clean weatherstripping and treat with 303 (including sunroof)

- Treat Interior Vinyl and plastic with 303

Good Interior List.:up

You can get Blue Coral from any Automotive Chain including Pep Boys.

To Add To "Clean Out Trunk":

- Clean and Dress Spare Tire

- Clean Tools and Install in proper location

- Clean Spare Tire Well

Also not sure if your including the door and trunk jambs as part of the interior or exterior. Just don't forget them.

PrinzII- Sounds like you're getting over your cold :xyxthumbs

I have better luck on my vents cleaning them with swabs that have a little product on them. Brushes sometimes knocked the dirt/dust back into the vents and it'd come back when I used the HVAC.

Any way to tempt you with this idea? Use your friend's Cyclo for the DACP/PI-III/AIO. I'd like to hear a "Cyclo-virgin's" take on how they like it, since *I* think it's so great. The contours of the Maxima seem like a great Cyclo application (as opposed to a Jag, for instance).

That is an interesting idea. I might ask him to see what he says.

But you are correct that the A33 Maximas like mine are quite easy to detail. :D

Project is on hold. I just saw some paint defects from when they fixed my car and I need to get hold of the body shop to correct them.

I got the actual date for the event. The meet is being held 9/20 in Addison, IL. This means I am going to be detailing throughout the week (Interior work) so I can get her ready for the event as well as several road trips I plan to take.
